MTAACC Mission

The mission of the Metropolitan Trenton African American Chamber of Commerce is to empower African American businesses through advocacy, education and networking.

The Metropolitan Trenton African American Chamber of Commerce (MTAACC) was established in 1997 by a group of prominent African American Business owners. The founders' intent is to create a business organization, which advocates economic diversity, fosters capacity building and wealth creation for African American businesses.

MTAACC has Chamber affiliations with the National Black Chamber of Commerce (NBCC), the largest trade association in the United States that deals strictly with issues of economics and entrepreneurship in the African American community; and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the world's largest business federation, representing more than three million businesses and organizations of every size, sector and region.

MTAACC members represent a diverse group of businesses, i.e., construction, professional and retail organizations. MTAACC maintains a monthly meeting and event schedule, which includes a networking luncheon.

The process of becoming a MTAACC member requires the completion of a Membership Application and payment of annual dues.

The State Of New Jersey Office of Supplier Diversity is tasked with helping the State to be more inclusive in its choice of suppliers while helping the suppliers to understand how the State conducts its business. Click here for more information
